CONTACT IMPROVISATION DANCE WORKSHOP
DANCE THE ENCOUNTER
facilitated by Daniela Schwartz and Eckhard Müller

With the joy of meeting, we propose to develop listening and the possibilities of the body through dance. We will gradually move from perceptive to haptic encounters in an open dialogue.
Contact Improvisation involves being in the encounter. Entering into a dialogue with the ground, physical forces, singular and plural bodies. We capture our perceptions, sensations and imaginations, while allowing a constant process of updating to take place in the environment.
This workshop observes the dances that will emerge from these bodies available for encounter and questions the search for the (un)expected, the felt and the movement. How will events of all kinds, both material and immaterial, affect them?

From age 18, no pre-requisites.

Saturday 6 July and Sunday 7 July, 10am – 4pm (1h break, packed lunch)

Prices
Weekend: 100€ / 75€ (concessions for those taking part in Theatre workshops this season)
Day: 60€ / 45€ (reduced and those taking part in the Theatre workshops this season)
